Pipewrench Software LLC ("Pipewrench Software," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data the RollCart app stores, what device permissions it uses and why, and what choices you have. It describes the current version of the App as it actually works today.

By using the RollCart mobile application ("App"), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

RollCart is a mobile reference and utility application for professional mechanics and technicians, developed and published by Pipewrench Software LLC, a Virginia limited liability company.

The App saves the following information locally on your device, in the App's own private storage:

Settings and profile details — a technician name and shop name you may optionally enter, plus display preferences.

Work data — saved specifications, notes, tags, and your conversion history.

Job photos — photos you capture with the in-app camera, stored in the App's private storage area. They are not added to your device's Photos app.

Location tags — if you grant location permission, the precise location where a photo was taken (or a location you manually assign to it), and any saved work locations you create.

This information is stored only on your device. The App never transmits it to Pipewrench Software LLC or to any third party, and we have no ability to access it.

The App requests the following device permissions. Each is used only for the purpose described, and you can review or revoke any of them at any time in your device's Settings.

The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo. Captured photos are saved to the App's private work photo library on your device — never to your device's Photos app, and never anywhere off your device. The App does not use the camera in the background.

If you grant location permission, the App records your device's precise location at the moment you capture a photo, or when you manually assign a location to a photo, so your photos can be tagged and organized by work site. Location is used for no other purpose, is stored only on your device, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else by the App.

Location is entirely optional. If you decline the permission, the camera and every other feature work fully — your photos simply will not carry location tags.

The current version of the App does not read from or save to your device's Photos library. If a future version adds a feature that needs Photos access (such as attaching an existing photo), your device will ask for that permission at that time.

The current version of the App collects no personal information whatsoever. Specifically, there are: no user accounts and no collection of your name, email address, or contact details by us · no analytics or usage tracking · no crash reporting operated by us · no advertising and no advertising identifiers · no access to your contacts, microphone, or other device sensors · no cookies or similar tracking technologies.

Because we do not collect your personal information, we have nothing to sell, rent, share with advertisers, disclose in response to legal process, or transfer in a business sale.

Note that Apple and Google may collect crash and diagnostic data about apps on your device through their own operating-system services. That collection is controlled by your device settings and governed by their respective privacy policies, not by us.

The only network request the current version of the App makes is to load fonts from Google Fonts, a service operated by Google LLC. When the App loads these fonts, your device makes a network request to Google's servers. This means Google may receive your IP address and basic request metadata. This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. No App content, photos, location data, or other personal information is included in this request.

We intend to replace this external dependency with locally bundled fonts in a future update, at which point this disclosure will be removed.

The App includes share features that let you send photos, specs, and related details (such as categories, notes, and location names) to other apps — for example, sending job photos to a customer by text message or email. Sharing is entirely user-initiated through your device's native share sheet: nothing is ever shared automatically, and you choose the destination every time.

Once you share content, it is handled by the app or service you selected under that service's own privacy policy. Pipewrench Software LLC never receives a copy of anything you share. Please review what a photo's details include before sharing it.

All of your data is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage area, protected by your device's built-in security. Because nothing is stored on our systems, retention is entirely under your control:

Deleting individual items — you can delete photos, specs, and saved locations within the App at any time.

Deleting everything — uninstalling the App permanently removes all App data from your device. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.

Your device's backup services (such as iCloud or Google backup) may include App data in device backups according to your device settings. Those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple's or Google's policies, not by us.

We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or operating system changes affecting locally stored data. Please back up information you cannot afford to lose.

RollCart is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

RollCart is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms operate independently and have their own privacy policies governing data they collect, including diagnostic data, download history, and payment information. We encourage you to review Apple's and Google's privacy policies directly. Pipewrench Software LLC is not responsible for the data practices of these platforms.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because the current version of the App stores your data only on your device and sends us nothing, you exercise these rights directly:

Access and correction — view and edit your data within the App at any time.

Deletion — delete individual items in the App, or delete everything by uninstalling the App.

Permissions — grant or revoke camera and location access at any time in your device's Settings.

If you have questions about your data or these rights, contact us at contact@pipewrenchsoftware.com. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We plan to add features over time that may change how data is handled — for example, user accounts, cloud sync of your specs and photos, community content sharing, or an ad-supported free tier. None of these exist in the current version of the App.

Before any feature that collects or transmits your personal information becomes active, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe it and require you to affirmatively accept the updated Policy. Your data practices will never change silently.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice, and you will be required to affirmatively acknowledge those changes before continued access to the App is granted.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
