Pipewrench Software LLC ("Pipewrench Software," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices you have.

By using the RollCart mobile application ("App"), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

RollCart is a mobile reference and utility application for professional mechanics and technicians, developed and published by Pipewrench Software LLC, a Virginia limited liability company.

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the App and which features are available at the time.

When you create an account (available in a future version of the App), we collect:

Email address — used for account authentication, support communication, and to notify you of changes to this Policy or our Terms of Use.

Display name — a name or username you choose to identify yourself within the App.

We do not require your real name, phone number, physical address, or payment information to create a basic account.

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain usage data to help us understand how the App is being used and to improve it over time. This data is collected anonymously and is not linked to your identity. It includes:

Which tabs and tools you use within the App (e.g., Torque, Pressure, Measure) · Frequency of use for individual features · General session duration · App version and operating system version.

We do not collect precise location data, contact lists, camera access, microphone access, or any other device sensor data.

The App may use crash reporting tools to help us identify and resolve technical problems. Crash reports may include information about the state of the App at the time of a crash, device type, and operating system version. This data is used solely for debugging and improving App stability. Additionally, the platform through which you downloaded the App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) may collect diagnostic and crash data through their own systems, governed by their respective privacy policies.

The current version of RollCart loads fonts (Saira and Saira Condensed) from Google Fonts, a service operated by Google LLC. When the App loads these fonts, your device makes a network request to Google's servers. This means Google may receive your IP address and basic request metadata as part of that transaction. This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We intend to replace this external dependency with locally bundled fonts in a future update, at which point this disclosure will be removed.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To operate and deliver the App — including account management, data sync across devices, and providing core features.

To improve the App — anonymous usage analytics help us understand which features are most valuable and guide future development decisions.

To communicate with you — we may send you notices of material changes to this Policy or our Terms of Use, and respond to your support requests.

To serve relevant advertising — in the free version of the App, we use your in-app behavior (such as which tools you use most frequently) to show you relevant advertisements from tool manufacturers, equipment companies, and other mechanic-related businesses. See Section 5 for more detail.

To diagnose and fix problems — crash reports and error data help us identify and resolve technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the App.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who assist us in operating the App — such as cloud hosting or analytics infrastructure. These vendors are contractually required to use your data only as directed by us and in accordance with this Policy.

Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to protect our legal rights.

Business transfer: If Pipewrench Software LLC is acquired, merged, or undergoes a similar business transition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via in-app notice if this occurs.

User-generated content: If you choose to publish content to community features of the App (available in future versions), that content will be visible to other users in accordance with the publishing options you select. See Section 6 below.

The free version of RollCart is supported by advertising. Ads are sourced directly from tool manufacturers, equipment companies, and other mechanic-related businesses. We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad exchanges.

To make ads more relevant to you, we use your in-app behavioral data only — specifically, patterns such as which tools you use most frequently. We do not use data from outside the App, purchase third-party audience data, or build profiles based on your identity to serve ads.

Ads you see in RollCart are related to the trades and industries the App serves. They are not targeted based on your location, demographics, browsing history, or any data source outside of RollCart itself.

Users who purchase a RollCart Premium subscription will not be shown advertisements. In the premium version, your in-app usage data is used only for App improvement purposes as described in Section 3, and is not used for advertising in any form.

Your choice between the free and premium versions of the App represents your decision regarding ad-supported use. The core functionality of RollCart — including all conversion tools and reference features — is available in the free version. Premium removes advertising and may include additional features as they are developed.

Future versions of the App will allow users to publish technical notes, specifications, and other content to a community marketplace. Content you choose to publish will be visible to other users of the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Please do not publish personally identifying information, confidential employer data, or proprietary third-party information in community-facing features. Pipewrench Software LLC is not responsible for content published by other users.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion.

Your saved specifications, settings, and preferences are currently stored locally on your device using your device's native storage. This data does not leave your device unless you are using a future account sync feature.

When account sync is available, your data will be stored on secured cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the App and provide information at your own risk.

We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or operating system changes affecting locally stored data.

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Anonymous usage and analytics data, which is not linked to your identity, may be retained indefinitely for App improvement purposes.

RollCart is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

RollCart is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms operate independently and have their own privacy policies governing data they collect, including diagnostic data, download history, and payment information. We encourage you to review Apple's and Google's privacy policies directly. Pipewrench Software LLC is not responsible for the data practices of these platforms.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you.

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask questions about your data, contact us at contact@pipewrenchsoftware.com. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Analytics opt-in: Anonymous usage analytics are disabled by default. You may choose to enable analytics collection in the App's Settings to help us improve RollCart. Any analytics data collected is anonymous and not linked to your identity.

Advertising: If you do not wish to receive interest-based ads, you may upgrade to RollCart Premium, which is entirely ad-free.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice. Where you have an account and have provided an email address, we will also notify you by email. Your continued use of the App following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. You will be required to affirmatively acknowledge material changes before continued access to the App is granted.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
